Hello peeps! I'm back to update u guys on me and such. At this point, I'm pretty pissed about missing the Lady Sovereign concert which was held at The Empty Bottle earlier today. It's really all my fault for finding out so late. But anywayz, my day was pretty rad. Work was pretty dull and slow but wasnt too hard on me at all so yea lol. I pretty much helped my co-worker Naveed to score points with some chick he likes that comes into the store every now and then. He got her a b-day card and some Paris Hilton perfume....awww lol. So then off to my mom's place with her money hungry ass lol. We got to settle a lil IRS problem in which they tried to fuck me over...not so nice IRS. Good thing I signed a document via H&R Block about any mistakes and they settled it so *whew* with that one. Hold up....gonna check my noodles...........................................ok i'm back. So yea, I'm soooo waiting on that darn W2. I'm too desperate to get out of this financial stress i'm feelin at the moment. So tired of peepin in the mailbox and seein nothin there and hearing my mom's voice of "did u get it yet?" Like damn i'mma tell u mama lol.


Bring's me at this point now. Just finished talkin with my bestie Angela and her Ike & Tina-like relationship. Chillin with my bowl of Ramen and lookin to catching up to some 90210 episodes that I missed. 1-24-09 6 In The Morning and Still Aint Sleep

I admit...I'm tired as fuck right now but I can't sleep because I'm also hungry. I do admit that these new tracks released by Ko*Starz is pure fiire!!! Really feelin the '18 and Older' track. I'll post that track and the rest on my blog laterz. I've let the web steal my sleep away since getting my camera fixed. Too excited about that. I've been meaning to post a whole lot earlier tho to u know discuss my day. I had a good cool day tho. I started off with playin a lil Rockband over at my sis Magali's place(man my guitar skills got rusty). It was so fun til ger grandaddy ran me out and spoiled the fun :(. Anywho, my cam was finally fixed and got too excited to the point that I can finally upload my old vids and I've been recording some new ones which is one of the reasons I'm still up(and the fact I'm makin noodlez of course) Idk but i'm sure plenty of u heard about the 2 Girls 1 Cup crap and then they got 2 Guys 1 Horse and etc. I pretty much put myself in the craze with reactions of my first views and such. Ello blog!!! I'm pretty swell right now....totally gellin like a fellin lol. Drinkin my Formula 50 and countin my $20s. My day went by good, didnt have to work too hard today(technically yesterday we're speaking of lol) plus got paid and tax returned...hoorah!!! Yea...my sis stopped by and we hunged for a bit. I'm so amazed at Obama bein the first president to be able to use a Blackberry in office lol. I'm pretty sure alot more firsts to come(keep em comin). I'm listenin to this new single "Crack A Bottle" released by Shady himself feat. Fitty and Dr. Dre and my.....this is the same Shady I grew to love. 1-21-09 I'm Back!!!!

Hello blog and my fellow peepers ^_^ Sorry I've been gone for a min(a couple days actually). I've missin my blog tho as that time was goin by tho. I've noticed alot of things that happened throughout the last time I last blogged. My phone got completely turned off for one thing. I'm actually mad and kinda glad about it. I miss textin and tweeting on there the most and bein checked on by my fam and close friends. On the flipside, with the recession effecting me, i could do without it for say a month. It's given me more time to get other things done and less of a strainer. I mainly let it get turned off because i planned to cancel my second line because the shit is gettin too expensive for me to deal with. After gettin that dealt with then i will turn it back on.

Second of all, we got a black president ya'll!!! Lol, Barack Obama has become a spitting image to all cultures around the world the day of his inauguration. I was so ispired by his whole speech and the energy within his words just lifted me up whole to the point where I just wanna flat out say that "I love my country!!!" He made me actually love my country now and has become a leading role model in my life until the day i leave Earth. He's that perfect father figure Ive always dreamed of and always dreamed of becoming. He's plain friggin awesome dude and now he's our president. And like he said, it's up to us, the people to work together to re-build and shape our future and he's willing to do that with our help. We're pretty much in a fucked up situation with the economy and all but like he said, its not an overnite process....its gonna take awhile or maybe a term but he ensures changes happening little by little. But we as Americans are truly the ones that help shape our future and for what its worth. I say lets take a chance and for once believe in change and help make it happen. Obama is just one person. He cant do it alone. We needed Obama and now he needs us. Let's do it dammit!!!

And finally some goody goods that I noticed when I got home....Lupe Fiasco is dropping his third upcoming album, "Everywhere" in June. These words were spoken by himself while onstage at the Big Day Out(BDO) concert in Australia. Now he did at first originally scheduled it to be in the Fall but there's a lil early advancement I suppose lol. But Lu does have a record of not fully bein on point with hisdue dates so peeps are already thinkin like 'man he just may push it back to Fall. Idk tho but if he sticks to his word....i'm on it baby!!!! FNF UP!!!

Sup peeps!!! Checkin in with you all. As u can see of my previous posts under this one, Ive been pretty busy postin the goods. After all of that, Ive finally gotten to the chance a wrapping that up. So hungry now. I'm thinkin a large bowl of cereal and a couple of PB & J sandwiches. Gonna get right to it after this. But yea I've finally gotten two concerts in line for me to attend at the start of the year and about to get ready to purchase my Lady Gaga tickets in a lil bit while they are on sale. Other than that I got a new work schedule on Fridays now. Usually I would be at work at this time but now I work on Fridays from 6PM to Midnite. Yup, and let's see...we got two cool movies out today at the theater, 'My Bloody Valentine 3D', which I'm desperate to see and 'Notorious', where the theaters are gonna be overstuffed with niggas all over the place lol. Supposedly my pal Angela and her friend are plannin to go and I wanna go too but getting this ticket while it's on sale is more important at the moment and then I gotta work tonite. I gots the whole weekend for all of that. Til then peeps, I'mma catch back up with ya on another update when I get back from work. Laterz ^_^

If you’re a card-carrying Marvel Zombie, 2009 has been a very good year for you so far. Between the hype surrounding “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and the latest “Iron Man 2″ casting news, it’s beginning to look like yet another mighty year for the “House of Ideas.”

Of course, we could be speaking too soon here, as the L.A. Times‘ Hero Complex has broke the news that negotiations between Samuel L. Jackson and Marvel Studios (for Jackson to reprise his role as Nick Fury in Marvel’s upcoming slate of films) have reportedly come to a halt, with Jackson going so far as saying, “There was a huge kind of negotiation that broke down. I don’t know. Maybe I won’t be Nick Fury. Maybe somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won’t be in it. There seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world so [they're saying to me], ‘We’re not making that deal.’”

In what would be a huge blow to Marvel’s upcoming slate of films — including “Iron Man 2,” “Thor” and “The First Avenger: Captain America,” all of which lead up to the holy grail of superhero films, “The Avengers” — Jackson’s Fury (head of S.H.I.E.L.D.) would’ve served as the glue that bonded the films together. With his cameo at the end of “Iron Man,” as well as the fact that Marvel has been blatantly using his likeness for the character in their comics over the past few years, he’s clearly earned the fanboy seal of approval. And while Hero Complex speculates that this may just be a “negotiating tactic” on Jackson’s part, the fan-favorite actor was certainly vocal about his disappointment with the meetings thus far.

“I saw ['Iron Man' and 'Iron Man 2' director] Jon Favreau at the Scream Awards and we had a conversation,” recalled Jackson. “He said, ‘I hope things are working out for you because we’re writing stuff for you.’ Then all of a sudden last week I talked to my agents and manager and things aren’t really working that well.”

Based on a review posted by XXL, there's a commotion over a song by 50 Cent called "Play This On The Radio." Apparently, my homie Kanye West was called a faggot in one of the lines of the song. Protestors in the Bay Area started a riot as of yesterday over the murderous slaying of a man named Oscar Grant Julius III by a 27 yr old BART(Bay Area Rapid Transit)officer on the wake of New Years day. This Aching And Nudging Pain

I never planned to experience any pain this new year. Not until finally getting a call from my girl thru someone else. The pain of it all that Im paying both our phone bills and not a single call or message(at least a message) of whats wrong or why she's been so vacant for the past couple of weeks. Some may say why I don't call or message her myself. The thing is my girl who happens to stay with her mom and still in H.S. can't really speak to me around her peeps at all because they dont want us together. She did get caught with the phone once along time ago that I got her for us to speak or message and was force to give it back to me. I eventually gave her the phone back but we agreed to keep every conversation limited. Everything was going cool u kno. We started messaging each other or calling each other very briefly like every few days to check up on each other....well everything was based on her calling since I couldnt really call. Pretty soon, those few days started turning into a week and most recently two weeks. I got a high ass 200 sumthin dollar phone bill that I have to pay up in a few days and i'm starting to think like man....this shit is becoming a waste of time. It's like what if them weeks start turning into a month. Just think I pay a bill for a month of no phone usage. The fuck outta here man. I'm pretty much showing too much love ya kno.

I understand that she's flunking classes and according to her trying her best to make it up but that can't be a major reason to not let me kno whats goin on. At times and even when I talked to her on the phone not too long ago, it seemed as tho she's not too happy to hear from me and yea she was all emotional about her flunking classes and saying the reason why she couldnt call or rather message me at all was because her peeps were around. They can't possibly always be around when ur in the room at nite or in the bathroom. You can even try going to a store or to the library. Its easy as fuck to simply send me a a quick lil message such as Happy New Year or a Merry Christmas which I never got. Thats just bogus man. i don't mean to go off like that on her because I love her and I'm willing to give all my support to her but the support is slowly diminishing when I see other likeable couples doing there best to still connect whether thru the good or the bad. I got a friend named Vero(aka my daughter) who has a boyfriend outta H.S. too but they still conversate and see each other even when her parents dont like him. The big thing about our space from each other and limited speaking was for her to do better in school and its been like three months and not a thing got better and its now destroying me because of no progress at all. And I'm starting to feel like I'm being ignored majorly and that she doesnt have the same feelings for me anymore.......I don't know.

I do still love her and shown it alot but the question that causes my aching and nudging pains of most recent is does she still do? I mean her own lil sister keeps it up with her boyfriend online and everything. I'm constantly seeing her online yo. I'm down with the whole long distance relationship thing. How could it be a long distance relationship with no communication? I miss our talks, our laughs, jokes, little fights, playfulness, etc. But I tried laughing with u today and everything was just so dry. I made a New Years resolution that if this relationship does not work out, i'm going back to the single and nerdy lifestyle I once had thru high school, where as I'm gonna be married to my work and completely stay away from relationships at least as far as this year goes. It gets frustrating man.

Thank god I got work and friends to keep me happy. Its just that I see myself in a relationship and expect to have that warm feeling inside when I think about us. I'm missing that and having trouble with finding it. Until I realize what's really up and everything...maybe my phone should go off for a while. This here blogging is my most useful communication anyway by far. All I could do right now is wait and see what happens. It's what I've been doing anyway, only this time with my phone off. I'm a writer lately...fuck a phone ^_^

It just irks me when I'm at work at Subway and all of a sudden one of my own just constantly begs for more of this and more of that. "Hey man put a lil mo mayo on there man...don't be scared. Put mo on. Thats it! And alot of them pickles" or the usual "Ayo...throw a lil extra scoop of that tuna on there boi. C'mon u black man....hook a nigga up" Its so hilarious yo but irritating as fuck at the same time. Wheres the fuckiin respect yo...I mean seriously we should be better than that. I just got one thing to say, If u wish to wanna have more meat or anything of such, why don't u send ur black ass over to McDonald's or Burger King. Damn...its fuckin Subway. It's a fresh eating and getting fit type of restaurant. You want bigger and more meat go elsewhere, plus its cheaper there for whoever again complains about our price for the Big Philly Cheesesteak. I'm just sayin dude...I love my peeps but DAYUM YO!!!!! lol

Lupe Fiasco Says “Hip-Hop Is Coming To An End,” Yet Denies Singing For Indie Rock Band

According to XXLmag.com,

"After two tracks leaked onto the net by an indie band called Japanese Cartoon many fans speculated that the singer of the group was Lupe Fiasco. The Chi-Town rapper took to the Okayplayer.com forums to dismiss the rumors, among a list of other topics including his new album,the current state of hip-hop and new Interscope signee Charles Hamilton.

Over the weekend music by the British band hit the net and many sites said that it featured Lupe singing under the moniker Percival Fats. Yet according to the group’s MySpace page, Fats is a real person and while Lupe is not in the band, he is involved with the group financially.

“Percival Fats (Born Percival Hindenburg-Fats) Is NOT Lupe Fiasco (Born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco). Although he is a dear friend,” it read. “Lupe does finance the band but is NOT I REPEAT NOT THE SINGER IN JAPANESE CARTOON. He is however the producer and we value his participation very much.”

Lu, under the moniker FNF Up And Away ok, also cleared the air himself on the Okayplayer.com forums– where he has been known to post in the past. “I like those kids a lot,” he wrote. “Met the bass player overseas last year and their publicist/manager is a good friend from like childhood. May sign them. Not me singing though.”

During the forum chat, the Atlantic rapper also gave his two cents on the current state of hip-hop. “I feel like hip-hop is coming to sort of a..i dare say…an end???…(no pun intended),” he explained.
”It’s not the same energy…hasn’t been for a long time…just a bunch of nothing out there…take it how u may…I hope the new vanguard proves me wrong and brings back the day of substance minus the webcam video to announce its return.”

“Not ‘end’ in the since of cease to exist,” he clarified. “But more so transform into something else so expression is more meaningful…I put question marks on it because I still question my own thoughts about the feeling. But so many “what the fuck?!?!” moments have piled up so incredibly over the last few years that it begs a rethink of the trajectory of the art form.

As far as who the next generation he is speaking of, Lupe listed the Cool Kids and Charles Hamilton in that category. “I’m a ‘new nigga’ but old in the senses of the fast food generation…. the ‘new new niggas’ i.e. The Cool Kids, the incredibly interesting and thought provoking Charles Hamilton and the like are the vanguard I speak of…honestly I want it to change…never really been a fan of preserving…attention span is way too low and distorted for that hahaha.”

Fiasco also promised that his highly anticipated upcoming album, now titled Everywhere instead of LupEND, will be coming a lot sooner than expected.

As of press time there is no release date set for the album and still no word if this will be the rapper’s final album." –Elan Macini

Um....I actually wanna clear a few errors in that review...'Everywhere' is just one of three of the albums that makes up 'LupEND'. 'LupEND' isnt just an album itself for those who think its just one album. Second I totally agree with what Lu had to say about Hip Hop and where it's heading lately. I truely believe that the likes of Charles Hamilton, The Cool Kids, my peeps Ko*Starz, etc have the clarity to help bring some yet positive meaning to what 'we' have always respected in hip hop and to regain that missing formula we so far beg for.

To wrap things up about the whole Japanese Cartoon thing, I personally (sorry Lu) thinks that it's him just because it sounds like him, just with the british accent(sorta reminds me of his accent usage in his intro from 'Food & Liquor'). I'm never sayin that it's u tho Lu...I just think so. I can't help but be a lil curious. Overall, I still showz my love to my boy no matter what and u keep doing your thang Lu. ThekiD is out....

I agree completely with this comment that was left on of 100isforever's Myspace blog by Chemical Ali. It was in response to his question about success and I was really feeling his comment he posted. I was was gonna post what I said but damn I could go on and on and on lol it was too big for me to leave as a comment. It got me in deep biography mode about me growing up so here it goes.....dim the lights!

And just like him I was left alone in the world growing up, no father, i had everyone else but was always an outcast or the weird one in the fam just because I wouldnt do or share the things they did. I was always quiet and stuck to my books and whatever was knowledgeable to me. I was the brain kid of my siblings and they wasnt tryna feel that part of me. Its just like music, fam=mainstream, me=underated. Throughout it all, it helped me to become a stronger person today and understand the greatness out of it all because without that knowledge I would be wonderin what it is for me to do. I'd probably be outside slangin, sleepin over peeps houses, staying in my moms crib begging and watchin BET all friggin day flippin back and forth from Music Choice or constantly constantly tryin to see what my friends are up to when they just may be workin or doin something productive while I sit there wonderin once more what it is to do. U just have to have that mind frame that would allow to u to say man....nothing to do...could I work...write something...draw, clean, go help out, go grocery shopping...something man. I went thru H.S. years asking myself these questions everyday until something happened. I kept quiet alot because I was around alot of negativity. My focus was completely blocking me away from parties, friends, and hanging out. I wasnt happy at all around my fam at all because I always felt that something was missing. It was prob one of the reasons some peeps including my fam looked at me strange. I needed a job bad because I wanted to get away from all this negativity. I tried to find a job my last two years of H.S. but failed to. With all the Academic Decathlon and honor-like classes I was takin, I never was able to acquire a good job at the time I needed it. My mom started becoming money hungry and wanted me to have a job right away like it comes overnite. Eventually she kicked me out while I was still in school and suddenly I'm living with my aunt. I would say even tho my aunt looked at me strangely at times to, She was the better part of my fam. I found it thru living my final year of H.S. with her that I finally have the time and space to enjoy doing what i do and be a complete nerd without the pressure of doing this and that my mom was throwin in my face. I became fascinated with developing web pages and technical related stuff all my H.S. life and had the chance to broaden my skills.



I eventually graduated and whatnot and was very ready to go to college. My mom was a big blockage for me to getting into college because she refused to even get me in college. So I found myself all alone again and realized that I really need to get a job. Anywhere would be nice...i didnt care. I did end up spending my whole summer getting a job right at the end. Money was feelin right. My auntie was proud of me but still realize that I had alot of free time on me that could have been used for school. Seeing because of my mom I couldnt go to college, I looked into some certification programs of my interest to help me better what I possess. I ended up wasting a whole year of money to it for the majority of what skills I've already acquired and and seeing that I really don't need to be in school for Web Design, I stopped that program and kinda started slackin off. My aunt wasnt liking this and threw me out and I'm back with my mom again. I ended up spending a year back with my mom promising her that since i have a job that I would pay her some rent money to stay back with her. She was fine with it. Few months later of staying with her I got a second job because the money I was giving her left me with not much in my pocket. After my year staying with her, she became money hungry mom again askin for even more money. It caused me to wanting to move away from her this time into my own place. As much as I searched and called for a place it wasnt suitable to my income. All the while doin this I started investing in my money for those few months and decided that I wanted to have a roommate to stay with. Sure enough I saved up enough money to get away as quick as I can. While I was still lookin for a cool enough roommate to move into a place with, I found myself packin up all my things in preparation without any of my fam knowing about it so that when I do find a roommate and a place, I definately wont be needing to pack anything when leaving. Sooner or later I found a roommate, which I'm still living with today, and moved out with no hesitation. I was so happy when we got a place together that I just couldn't stop celebrating with a party almost every weekend at our new place. This was all last year. This year, while I'm still workin two jobs and a place of my own along with my roommate whose now my sister to me, I'm planning to be more on my grind about my career goals and my plan to being the great web designer that I've always planned to be. While my skills may be a bit tainted from all the drama and issues I've been dealing with since leaving H.S., I plan to refresh them by sticking more closely to my books and instructors I've discovered along the way. I already can't wait to get me an iMac laptop to start my work on. I'm saving up to get that now. I've been secretly blueprinting all my ideas for the past year and so can't wait to establish and sell them. Until then, I will keep blogging and writing to u all every update that I come across and hopefully u peeps keep reading. I'd really really appreciate that and wish me well along my journey. My mission has begun.....

CTA Fares Have Officially Gone Up...Fuck!!!

It really pisses me off now that we have to experience a rise in CTA bus/train fares. Just as promised, the new year kicked off with a CTA bus driver telling me that "i'm sorry...it costs 25 cents more to ride on the bus". I'm like fuck dude are u serious and hits me right in the head that these effects have gone towards the fare cards too. Plus some things, like the 2 Day Visitor passes, have been eliminated as well. Total BS yo :( I mean hey, it was bound to happen anyway based on how the economy is turning out lately.


But for my other fellow Chi-Town peeps out there who forgot like me and for those planning to come by and visit the Chi and plan on touring or whatnot, you can go here to check out the new fare prices to ease ur worriness ^_^

This is basically my first blog and I'm pretty much gonna have fun with this. It's a new year and pretty much I'm into doing and trying newer things. I've always had it in my heart to blog and always failed to based on many BS to deal with from the past year.
